Whether you're new to fishing or just undecided on what rigs you want to use, we've created a starter pack that will tick all of your boxes in one go.

To cover almost all fishing situations you'll encounter, we've included the most common Bottom Bait, Wafter and Popup Rigs to ensure you get the best out of your session.

There will be five different rigs with a quantity of 10 in total (2 of each type) and you can spec them as required via the menu options and the bespoke requirements box.

Key Rig Features & Benefits

Korda N Trap is very strong and perfect for blowback rigs.  The booms are 25lb and super strong and highly abrasion resistant.  Both will blend in great with many lakebeds, making them very difficult to detect.

Lead Setup - Ideally used with a lead clip setup but a heli leader can be used.
Terminated - The rigs will have a combination of crimped and tied loops.  Solid and strong.
Anti-Tangle - The hooklink will always kick the hook away from the lead whether cast or dropped from a boat.
Reset properties - In the event of an aborted take, the rig will reset itself, ready for the next bite.
Exceptional hooking properties - The aggressive angle the hook sits at allows it to take hold almost instantly.

Tips

When using a popup you will more than likely need to add some putty to anchor the rig to the lakebed. The buoyancy of a popup will vary depending on brand and size so it's always worth testing your rig in the margin or a tub before casting out.  Ideally you will want the rig to slowly fall through the water so it will sit on top of any detritus.  The same goes for wafters, ensure they sit correctly and trim the hookbait so that the hook sits flat and the bait hovers just above it.  I always take a small tub and balance my hookbaits in that as it's quicker and easier than doing in the edge.  Spending the extra few minutes will make all of the difference in catch rates.
