The Fake Bait Stack Blowback Rig is a highly effective all year round rig due to it's ability to use pretty much any hookbait you want.  In this instance, the rigs will be provided with 4 piece of sweetcorn per rig but they can easily be removed and changed to a variety of hookbait sizes and colours to suit your requirements.  The baits are kept locked in place with the float stop that is also applied to each rig.  To add a bit of colour and also additional hooking potential we will also add some shrink tubing of your choice.

The rig mechanics are very clever.  The bait is attached to a hair that runs along the hook shank and kept in place via a piece of silicone.  This allows the hook to tighten at an aggressive angle and take hold in the bottom lip or scissors when the carp tries to eject the bait.

A wide range of bottom bait hookbaits can be used and allow the rig to be presented in a variety of ways as well which makes it very versatile but for this listing it will be sweetcorn hookbaits.

If you prefer to balance them you can mess around with different baits until you get the correct bait presentation.

As most hookbaits can be used, it can give you more options when you're on the bank and allow your rig to be cast onto different spots whilst maintaining excellent presentation.

Tips

The best presentation will be with the hook sat flat on the lakebed with the baits laying beside the hook or as an alternative wafter presentation where the hook will lay flat with the hookbaits wafting over the hook.  Ideally you will want the rig to slowly fall through the water so it will sit on top of any detritus.  The same goes for wafters, ensure they sit correctly so that the hook sits flat and the bait hovers just above it.  I always take a small tub and balance my hookbaits in that as it's quicker and easier than doing in the edge.  Spending the extra few minutes will make all of the difference in catch rates.

To stop the hookbait moving up the hair (common with pellets) and spoiling the presentation the float stop will eradicate this.
