The "Carp Nailers" Blowback Rig is a highly effective all year round rig.  If you're a lover of using meat hookbaits and bottom baits in general, then this is the rig for you.

The rig boasts amazing hook to capture ratios due to the hook patterns.  The shank will naturally want to flip a lot quicker than other patterns.  Most hook holds will be nailed in the scissor and when you get them in the net you will see that there was zero chance of the fish getting away.

We offer a variety of bait attachment options such as a meat coil to a standard hair. Whether you like to use luncheon meat, spam etc none of it will be a problem and will not come off on the cast, no matter how hard you do it.  If you mount meat on a hair for instance it will more than likely come flying off on the cast unless you have the correct tackle to mount it.  Either way, this wastes a lot of time and effort.  Boilies etc can be attached to the hair as per normal.

We have also given the option to add a tungsten bead to the shank that will make the hook point heavier and make the hook flip even quicker.  A tried and tested method that has been used for years and undoubtedly works 100% of the time.

The standard specification will catch carp on any lake but we've offered five add-ons to further enhance the performance and to cater for your individual preferences.  This can however make the rigs expensive, but they're totally optional, and not required by any means.

Uncoated or coated braid is perfect for this rig, it's not only solid and abrasion resistant but blends in great with many lakebeds, making it very difficult to detect.

Lead Setup - Ideally used with a lead clip setup.
Terminated - The rig will have a loop with a figure of eight knot.  Solid and strong.
Anti-Tangle - Add a small pva bag to reduce the chances of a tangle.  Whether cast or dropped from a boat.
Reset properties - In the event of an aborted take, the rig will reset itself, ready for the next bite.
Exceptional hooking properties - The hook pattern will give amazing hook holds and almost faultless hook to landed ratios.

Tips

When using the bait coil you can cube up plenty of hookbaits in advance to save time on the bank.  If you want to use a larger cube you can simply stretch the coil to make it longer and then mount your bait with ease.
