The Slip D Turbo German Rig has a slightly different build to the turbo german rig as it also has a slip d section on the shank that gives it completely different hooking mechanics. The supple d section will give the carp a whole host of problems when after your hookbait is sucked in. As it tries to eject the bait and hook, the d section will slip down the shank and allow the hook to swing freely underneath and catch hold in the bottom lip. Clever rig mechanics and ones that will continue to catch carp as they continue to find it very difficult to eject.
A very versatile rig that can be used all year round and with the ability to be cast onto almost any lakebed. With exceptional anti-tangle and reset properties, you can always be assured that your rig is working for you out in the lake.
Unlike a ronnie rig that uses a popup for best performance, the slip d turbo german rig will utilise the properties of a wafter or balanced bait which will give you a different way to present your rig. Whether that is as a single hookbait or over the top of a bed of particle, it will be low the the lakebed and look almost like a feww offering to an unsuspecting carp.
To compliment the rig we've also added a selection of different OMC aligners and matching hook beads. This will allow you to create different specs to suit your lake or baiting preferences.
For instance, if you're fishing over corn or particle then a cornoliner will be perfect, or maybe a bloodliner if fishing over a bed of bloodworm.

All of our booms are made with 25lb Amnesia with the exception of our camo fleck which is closer to 50lb.
They're not only solid but highly abrasion resistant whilst maintaining a similar diameter to Korda Boom.
If the hooklink does happen to get kinked after fighting a fish it can be straightened without steam in just a few seconds using 2 knot pullers.
Lead Setup - Suitable for both lead clip and helicopter setups (select the relevant swivel)
Crimped at both ends - this adds strength and neatness over a knot.
Anti-Tangle - The boom will always kick the hook away from the lead whether cast or dropped from a boat.
Reset properties - In the event of an aborted take, the rig will reset itself, ready for the next bite.
Exceptional hooking properties - You can test this in a tank, pick up the hookbait and see how the hook reacts. It is primed to nail the carps bottom lip.
Tips
When using a wafter, ensure that the rig is sitting correctly before casting into the lake. The buoyancy of a wafter will vary depending on brand and size so it's always worth testing your rig in the margin or a tub before casting out. Ideally you will want the hook to sit flat on the lakebed with the hookbait wafting just above it, using the weight of the hook to anchor it there. It's worth spending the extra few minutes perfecting this and know that your rig will be out in the lake working for you and not against you.
