Fishing on Silt - Ready made carp rigs
These are a selection of rigs that we recommend to use if there are silty areas on your lake.
Silt will hold an abundance of natural food and in-turn an area for carp to frequent.
To be able to fish successfully in these areas you will need to ensure you have the correct rig to aid an excellent presentation.
With an incorrect rig will you run a high risk of bad presentation or none at all if it goes into the silt.
We highly recommend using a helicopter setup as this will almost guarantee a perfect rig presentation in even the worst silt.
This will then open up further hookbait options such as Wafter, Boilies, Balanced Bottom Baits, Pellets etc.
