Wafter Rigs - Ready made carp rigs
These are just a small selection from our full ready made rigs product range.
Wafter rigs, much like bottom bait rigs are fished on the deck. The difference here is that your chosen hookbait will "waft" above your hook that will be flat on the lakebed and mask it from the view of any curious carp.
The benefit of using a wafter is that unlike other hookbaits it has a neutral buoyancy so it flies into a feeding carps mouth very easily without much movement from the carp over the area.
The buoyancy of the bait also allows the rig to slowly kick away from the lead and settle on the lakebed, perfectly presented and primed for a bite.
An added advantage of this is that any aborted takes will allow the rig to reset itself and be ready for the next carp. A must have action for any rig.
